Transdev Happy Travels campaign launched

Transdev has introduced a Happy Travels promise. It gives customers their next ride on one of its buses free of charge if they are not happy with their current journey for whatever reason.

The group has launched a marketing campaign utilising “a kaleidoscope of creative art” based on its routes and brands to inform users of the pledge, which it says is unique in northern England.

Under the Transdev Happy Travels arrangement, drivers will print a slip from the ticket machine for dissatisfied customers. They then pass it to Transdev’s customer service team in a variety of ways, including via social media, email or phone. The free ride is then actioned.

Says CEO Alex Hornby: “This is not a pledge that we want to hide. The moment when the eye is drawn to our Happy Travels message becomes our instant opportunity to create reassurance that we are here to do right by our customers.

“In an ever more crowded marketplace, we set out to create an adaptable series of designs that stand out and grab attention.”
