East Yorkshire Buses and Hull Museums’ Big Bus Day raised £2,140 for the NSPCC.

The family event, hosted at Hull’s Streetlife Museum of Transport, saw over 4000 people enjoy bus-themed attractions, face painting and a visit from Bob the 7ft-tall East Yorkshire robot.

East Yorkshire’s Marketing Director, Claire Robinson, handed over the cheque to NSPCC Community Fundraising Manager Elaine Kaye.

Elaine says: “This is a wonderful donation, thank you to everyone who came along to the Big Bus Day for supporting the NSPCC. It was a terrific event and I can’t thank East Yorkshire and Hull Museums enough for not only putting on such a marvellous family day but choosing to support the NSPCC in this way.

“Thanks to everyone’s efforts we can be there for even more children when they need us most.”
