Edwards Coaches showed its support for the Royal Glamorgan Hospital last Thursday (23 April) by taking part in the weekly ‘clap for carers’ event. The hospital is a key stop on Edwards’ local service bus route.

Nine coaches and buses delivered Edwards staff to the hospital, who wanted to show their appreciation for local carers. Present was Edwards’ Director and recently named High Sheriff of Mid Glamorgan Jason Edwards.

Says Jason: “Our local community is very important to us and it is vital now more than ever that we help wherever possible.

“We want to show our support to the people on the front line of this crisis however we can and we hope that seeing us turn up for the clapping showed them how much they mean to us.”

NHS staff have been offered free travel on Edwards’ bus routes during the coronavirus COVID-19 crisis.
