Keith Chadwick, Yutong Field Service Manager, passed away yesterday (3 September) after a battle with motor neurone disease. He was 65 years old.

Keith joined Pelican Engineering in 2012 as Chief Bus and Coach Field Service Engineer. He guided Pelican into the coach and bus industry and has been described as highly skilled and respected – ‘there was no technical problem on any coach or bus that he could not diagnose and fix,’ the firm said.

Keith was well loved and will be sorely missed by those who worked closely with him. Flags at Pelican were lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect.

Sales Manager at Pelican Engineering Bob Elliot says: “Keith was the type of guy that nobody ever had a bad word to say about him.

“He was a great team player and brilliant at his job. He will be greatly missed by everyone, particularly myself and Phil Hodgson who worked very closely with Keith over the years”
