Next Stop Announcement and the wing mirror replacement system SmartVision are the latest additions to 21st Century’s range of on-board technologies.

The SmartVision Camera Monitoring System is soon to be mandated in London as part of TfL’s Vision Zero strategy to remove all deaths and serious injuries from London’s road network by 2041.

It is already being viewed throughout the UK as a way to improve safety on vehicles while reducing the risk of mirror strikes. SmartVision’s improved Class II and Class IV views gives drivers better visibility in all lighting and weather conditions.

Its Next Stop Announcement system meets the requirements of the Bus Services Act. The system offers full control over the content, giving passengers clear information. The system can also integrate with the on-board CCTV.

21st Century are a member of ITxPT and, where possible, look to install ITxPT-compliant systems to allow operators the benefit from the integration of multiple technologies.
