CoachScanner aims to simplify booking process

CoachScanner is a platform that allows customers to compare prices, and it has seen success in its first year thanks to what the developer calls “a no-hassle approach to coach booking.”

In a survey conducted in November 2016, operators were asked what key elements they looked for in a dispatch system. With the results in mind, CoachScanner launched a suite of tools for them.

Its straightforward system is based on technology and recognising what makes customers book in the way that they do.

Journey information from customers is passed directly to operators, who use the free CoachScanner software that has three elements: A dispatch system, a booking engine and a booking widget.

The dispatch system allows operators to send quotes and PDF booking confirmations to customers via email. It also allows them to view bookings in a convenient and easy-to-follow online diary by way of a daily, weekly, monthly or list format.

The booking engine allows details to be entered and it has a tool to calculate the time and distance of a journey, simplifying pricing. The widget allows operators to receive enquiries directly.
