Expansion sees Find My Bus rebrand

Find My Bus has been renamed to RIDER+, as it attempts to broaden its brand after a period of fast growth.

Director, Joel Kidd, has stated that the company is outgrowing its name as it begins to engage in talks with companies outside of the bus industry.

He says: “I’m really proud of the Find My Bus brand I’ve created, and it’s sad to see the name go – but a necessary change to ensure the product stays relevant for passengers.

“As the app has grown, we’ve been approached by several transport operators who run other types of operation in Europe with a similar desire to show their customers the location of their vehicles.

“And the ability to offer our product alongside existing services has resulted in many of our customers winning new contracts.”

The app now works with GPS signals from most electronic ticket machine suppliers, a wide range of sat nav manufacturers, as well as integrated vehicle telematics solutions.
